While struggling for a long time with the challenges of becoming blind to the industry, I came across the Fatih Güner-founded Komünite community and immediately created a membership. My goal was to follow developments in technology more closely, build a network in this field, and talk about industry topics with friends who speak the same language as me.
At the same time, it was about guiding next-generation entrepreneurs, increasing their enthusiasm, and sharing how to overcome the challenges faced along the way. I had struggled alone while overcoming the difficulties I experienced in this field, and I made it my mission to explain how motivated friends could overcome the obstacles on the road so that their enthusiasm would not be broken.
I was able to integrate into Komünite very quickly. I can even say that I have already started to make valuable friends in Komünite, which offers activities in many areas ranging from one-on-one meetings to physical gatherings.
I met Andaç Güven at a one-on-one Speed Networking event and later at a physical event. He was attending from Kocaeli, accompanied me on my way back to Sapanca, and we had a pleasant conversation. Like many successful entrepreneurs, he also had a story. Once again, we realized that it is very difficult to get somewhere without blood, sweat, and tears — what comes quickly goes quickly.
After our conversation, Andaç suggested a great idea and stated that he could organize an event in Kocaeli with a group consisting of Komünite members and other friends from the industry, and he fulfilled this promise in a very short time.
At the meeting we held on Friday at the Outlet Center, I met valuable people interested in SEO, Digital Marketing, UI/UX Design, and software development.
We had the opportunity to talk for about 3 hours; we listened to each other and discussed developments in artificial intelligence, the tools being used, social media presence, and communities. Frankly speaking, I must say that I am quite behind them — I truly realized how big the difference is between following technology on the internet and listening to friends who are actively inside the industry.

We are part of a very rapidly developing and growing ecosystem; technology is the wrong field to say “I’ve made it.”
There are many topics we need to work on; when we stop, our existing knowledge becomes outdated very quickly. My recommendation to friends in the industry is definitely to be part of such communities and not stay out of the game.
I would like to thank Andaç Güven, Oğuz Alp Cengiz, Nusret Uzman, and Evren Bal, with whom we had great conversations. Hope to see you again at new events very soon :)
